Full Bio
Lizzie first started in theatre as a student at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, where she quickly fell in love with the technical side of the stage. In college at Northwestern State University, she continued her work in tech theatre, focusing on stage management. Since then, Lizzie has experience managing plays, musicals, dance concerts, and live music performances across Louisiana and Michigan.
Her stage management career took a backseat when she joined the military and served in the army for 4 years. During her service, she gained valuable experience in teamwork and communication, jumped out of perfectly good airplanes, and renewed her appreciation for passionate, creative people. After being injured in an unfortunate airborne incident, Lizzie returned to civilian life as a disabled veteran, and she is excited to continue pursuing her dream job as a resident stage manager.
Lizzie’s favorite part about theatre is the community that she can surround herself with. Every show brings new perspectives and new people into her life. She is so excited to call the Inspired Acting Company home and is thrilled to be paving the way for more artists and technicians to find their place.
When not ironing out the last bit of paperwork for her current show, you can find Lizzie whipping up Cajun food for her husband, daughter, two dogs, and one cat.
